E-2C VHF MISSION RADIO CONTROL PANELVHF Mission Radio Control Panel

The VHF is a simulated version of the Rockwell Collins VHF Mission Radio Control Panel/Radio Set (RSC) C-12561 A/ARC. It is intended for training and simulation use only.

The front appearance is a high fidelity duplicate of the original flight instrument, reproduced accurately in every detail. A high quality AMLCD faithfully reproduces identical images as produced by the original product.

All controls are fully functional. The front panel hardware matches that used on the original Instrument. It mounts into a simulated cockpit panel using standard Zeus mounting hardware.

All panel operations are encoded into user defined control signals and communicate with user host computers via RS232, RS422, or RS485 data links. All panel controls, annunciators, and legends are backlit via a user input and are dimmable from maximum to full off.

Video input: 640 by 480 VGA pixel resolution. The video is scaled to an on-screen resolution of 320 by 240 pixels (1/4 VGA).

Power requirements:
AC - 85-240 VAC, 47-63 Hz, power consumption 30 watts.
DC - 20-32 VDC, power consumption 30 watts. (Unit is protected internally from accidental voltage reversal).
Panel Lighting (Connections made through J2), 0 to 5 Volts, DC or AC (47 - 400 Hz).

Rear panel connectors are as follows:
J1 - Input Video, DVI-connector, female pins.
J2 - Interface connector for host interconnects, 26 pin high density "D", male pins.
J3 - Video maintenance port for control of internal video processor. (RS-232) 9 pin "D" female pins.
J4 - Input power connector:
     1. For units specified for 24 VDC power. 7 pin "Combo D" style, male pins.
     2. For AC powered units, standard IEC-320.

Note - All "D" style connectors use #4-40 screw type jack posts, female threads for mating retention.
